Spotify on 0.4.7

Hi there

I updated to the latest version 0.4.7. Since then, Spotify has stopped working. The connection between Spotify and Amplipi is established, but no music can be played. Once the connection is established, each song no longer displays its length (time).
I have tried the following:

  • Restarting the stream
  • Creating a new stream
  • Restart Amplipi / HW
  • Reinstall 0.4.7
    Surprisingly, it no longer works with version 0.4.6 either. Exactly the same error. Any ideas?

Hey Andy!

We have an issue for this here that has a good writeup, but beyond what the issue and thread under the issue says I can share that we’re making good progress.

At the moment we’re testing with a few different compilations of go-librespot with varying degrees of success and we’re hoping to have a fix out for this soon in the form of a 0.4.8 release.

An additional update for you, we have a beta that’s currently in the testing phase and should be released by Friday if we don’t find any issues. If you’d like to join the testing for that (and have a functional spotify client in the meantime) you can do so by going to Settings → Admin Panel → Older Updates and then selecting 0.4.8-beta.1 from the dropdown, then installing
