I came across a project to help projects use Deezer Connect, which seems like it would be a great fit for AmpliPi. The license is a little different, but maybe the author wouldn’t be too crazy considering AmpliPi is far more open than most things.
Any chances of getting this added to the project?
This is definitely something we will check out in the future.
The first step is probably to try to make a simple Deezer stream/plugin without metadata support to test the basic functionality. Let us know if you want to try prototyping this out and we can point you the right direction. A little outside help on this would definitely increase the chances of us integrating this soon.
