AmpliPi sold in European Union?

Is AmpliPi shipping to EU? I cannot find EU Declaration of Conformity for AmpliPi on your site?

Hi rzep!
Good question - unfortunately no, AmpliPi is not officially shipping to the EU as of yet. We are currently working on getting the EU DoC paperwork together. Should have it posted shortly.
Thanks,
Jason

Hmm, okay… confusing because it looks like people have purchased AmpliPi in the EU before [1][2]. How did they buy with no Declaration of Conformity?

What about United Kingdom?

Any update? Or is this a US-only product?

Sorry for the delay,

We are still working on getting all of the documentation in order and doing some additional testing. This will likely take a couple of weeks to wrap up.

Hi, another European interested in buying! I hope to have some news soon. Many thanks!

Hi Darkelphos -
We are making progress with the CE documentation. We hope to have all the paperwork in order by the end of the year! Thanks for your patience and sorry for the delay.

Any updates? I can’t add it to my cart on your store. If there is nothing by the end of the year, I will have to do something else instead.

Also, we are confused because it seems many EU people already have AmpliPi? A GitHub discussion from 2021 says Belgium, Netherlands, France. The OpenHAB founder in Germany has one in 2021, and also this article from near 2 years ago says a shipping cost for AmpliPi of “$100 to some European countries”. Even your FAQ still says many EU countries. Did you just skip the CE process before?

Hello everyone and a happy new year.
Is there any news yet? When can I place an order to Germany? I have a few people interested for the AmpliPi.

Can’t you give a short update here? It would be helpful to know whether it is still worth waiting or looking for an alternative.

Could a service like Aramex Shop & Ship help here? https://www.aramex.com/

I’m a UK based user who purchased before the restrictions and can confirm that the my amplipi is working fine on 240V - just need to make sure you set the power supply voltage in the units to 240V rather than the 110V they will ship with to the US.
